This Ammodor custom cigar humidor is built by re-purposing a vintage M548 20mm cannon round ammo can acquired at surplus auction from the US Military. 20mm rounds are commonly used in the weapons like the M61 Vulcan against large targets such as vehicles, buildings, or aircraft.
The 20mm Ammodor is 100% American made and handcrafted by inventor Kevin and our master craftsman and Veteran, Jerry. It is made with solid 1/4″ Spanish Cedar wood lining and 1/4″ Spanish Cedar plywood flooring. Measures 18″ x 14.5″ x 8″ outside, 16.75″ x 13.5″ x 7″ inside (around 1600 cubic inches). It holds 500+ robusto size cigars and weighs about 25 lbs. Features an OD Green patina and original military stencils.
Cleaned and sanitized prior to use with our proprietary sterilization process. Lined bottom using OD Green felt to protect table top surfaces. Features handles at each end and completely removable lid with a rubber gasket seal – 100% air tight and waterproof.
Lid can be drilled through to hold a Don Salvatore external mounted digital hygrometer (as pictured) in your choice of Gold or Silver color. Your choice of one or two full size removable trays, humidification, dividers and other accessories. We also offer personalization such as custom decals and painted stencils. The 81MM Ammodor custom cigar humidor is built by re-purposing a vintage C374MK2 81mm mortar shell ammo can originally used by the US/British/UN Military.
The 81mm Ammodor is 100% American made by hand and built-to-order by our master craftsman and Vet, Jerry and Ammodor’s owner Kevin at our workshop in Richmond, VA. It is made with solid 1/4″ Spanish Cedar lining and 1/4″ Spanish Cedar plywood flooring. Measures 25″ x 14″ x 8″ outside and 23.5″ x 12.5″ x 6.75″ inside (around 1980 cubic inches). Holds 625+ robusto size cigars or boxes and weighs about 25lbs. Brown in color and may feature original military stencils and/or explosive warning graphics.
